Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Start Time: 07:00am, job and finish

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established plant hire, welfare unit, and portable toilet company for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team in Ampthill.

This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable weekday work with the chance to secure a permanent position. You will be delivering and collecting a range of equipment from customer sites while providing a high standard of customer service.

What You'll Do

• Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to customer sites
• Deliver and collect plant equipment, welfare units, and portable toilets
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Load and unload equipment safely
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
• Follow all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery route
