7.5t Driver

Overview
We are seeking a professional 7.5t Driver to join our team. This role involves collecting recycling bins and sacks efficiently and safely across various locations, ensuring timely service for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving background, preferably with experience in commercial driving and flatbed operations. Duties

* Safely operate a 7.5t lorry to collect recycling bins and sacks from designated locations

* Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured correctly during transit

* Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and punctuality

* Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues

* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs

* Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements

* Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements

* Valid UK driving licence with a minimum of Category C1 (7.5t) entitlement

* Valid CPC and Tacho Card

* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery vehicles or flatbed lorries

* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving

* Experience with loading, securing and unloading is desirable

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently

* Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues

* Ability to work independently and responsibly, maintaining high standards of safety and punctuality
