7.5t Driver

Join our client’s team as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver based in Barking!

We are recruiting reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused drivers on behalf of our client, delivering to high-end restaurants, hotel chains, pubs, and hospitality events across a variety of routes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting new customers, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Your Responsibilities

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before starting your shift.

* Complete deliveries within scheduled time slots.

* Unload goods safely using a trolley at customer premises.

* Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed and signed.

* Report traffic delays, delivery issues, or other problems to the office.

* Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and well maintained.

* Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.

Working Hours and Pay

Location: Barking, East London

Temp to Perm opportunity

* Pay rate: £16.22 per hour

* Start time: 5:00 AM

* Working days: Monday to Friday

* Shift duration: Approximately 8–10 hours per day

What We're Looking For

* A valid Category C1 driving licence.

* Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

* Previous delivery driving experience.

* A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* The ability to handle physical duties, including unloading deliveries.
