AAT Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join an Accountancy Practice in Middlesbrough. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations, while also providing valuable insights to support the organisation’s financial health.

Duties

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies,
• Undertake company secretarial,
• Prepare vat returns,
• Bookkeeping using sage, xero, QuickBooks
• Training and supporting junior members of staff
• Help finalise accounts and compete the corporation tax returns

Requirements

• AAT Level 4 qualified
• Experience in Bookkeeping and preparing Accounts, VAT Returns
• Experience in Training junior members of staff
