Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting an accountancy firm in their search for an AAT Accounting Apprentice to join their current team which consists of over 40 employees and 6 partners. The firm was founded more than 100 years ago and comes with a great reputation.

Role Requirements -

• A basic understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to process financial transactions (e.g., invoices, receipts, and payments).
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with day-to-day financial operations such as data entry, invoicing, and reconciling accounts.
• Support in preparing financial statements, management accounts, and reports.
• Process transactions like bank reconciliation, sales/purchase ledger maintenance.
• Assist with year-end accounts preparation and audits.

Person Requirements -

• Have GCSE's with A Levels
• Willingness to study and complete AAT qualification modules while on the job, continuously improving accounting knowledge.
• Familiar with accounting software's such as Xero , Sage and IFRS
• Clear communication is crucial for discussing financial data with managers, clients, or team members.
• Ensuring accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain an organized workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to commute
