This family orientated practice are looking for an AAT Trainee Accountant who wants to be part of close knit firm of Chartered Accountants for this thriving Guildford accountancy practice to support the Accounts team.

Due to continued high growth this amazing team is now looking for a AAT Trainee Accountant to assist in the delivery of bookkeeping and management accounts for our varied and prestigious client base.

Their client sectors include technology, gaming, hospitality, space and much more. They have adopted technology and AI early, with close relationships directly with software providers helping them shape the technology of the future. They use the latest accounting technology and AI to reduce manual lifting and to help provide management information to clients in a much more meaningful way.

This thriving team are looking to add another driven and energetic team member to help drive further growth. The focus of this role will be the timely delivery of bookkeeping and drafting of management accounts, which forms the core of what they do. There will also be the opportunity to work on statutory accounts and advisory work including but not limited to corporate finance.

At all levels within the team, they expect their staff to openly question "the way we do things" as they strive for better ways of working. Whether that be a new app or technology or simply the way in which an existing job is completed they want you to bring ideas to the table. They expect you not only be client facing, but want to be client facing and you will build lasting relationships with their clients and be fascinated by how they work as well as personally invested in how they perform. You will be diligent and a stickler for detail, and keen to learn more as you study your accounting qualifications alongside this role.

This AAT Trainee Accountant will have:

• AAT Level 2 or Level 3 looking to continue AAT before moving on to ACCA/ACA
• At least six months experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
• Experience of Xero / Excel
• Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping

It would be great (but not essential) for this This AAT Trainee Accountant to have:

• Experience of preparing management accounts
• Experience of using DextPrepare and DextPrecision
