About the role - Academic mentor

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school in Waltham Forest who are looking to appoint an academic mentor. The school are looking for an academic mentor who can work 1:1 with students who require additional support. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in either a mainstream or SEN school helping students with learning difficulties. The school are keen to appoint a candidate with a nurturing approach to education, helping to boost confidence and academic achievement.

This mainstream secondary school based in the London borough of Waltham Forest cater to students aged between 11 to 18. Overall this school caters to roughly 700 students where they have a Sixth form provision on site. The school is based a short distance from Leyton station, accessible by both tube and bus.
