Access Control Analyst

As an Access Control Analyst at Cadent, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our intelligent padlocking solution, Lone working solutions and wider access control strategy. Working within the Securing Operations (Security) team, you’ll help ensure that access to Cadent sites and people are managed safely, securely and efficiently for both employees and contractors. 

This is a hands-on, full time role where you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of access control systems, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the estate. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for users, providing guidance, resolving queries and ensuring confidence in how the system is used. 

Your work will directly contribute to maintaining security standards, protecting assets and supporting operational continuity across the business. 

Critical Security Impact – Help protect access to Cadent’s sites, ensuring systems are secure, compliant and reliable. 

End-to-End System Ownership – Support the full lifecycle of access control, from user onboarding to access removal and system updates. 

Stakeholder Interaction – Work closely with internal teams, contractors and system providers to deliver a seamless user experience. 

Analytical & Insight-Driven – Produce reports and insights that support decision-making and contribute to security strategy. 

Training & Awareness – Deliver guidance, communications and training to help users interact confidently with access control systems. 

Collaborative Environment – Be part of a specialist security team working across a wide network of stakeholders. 

Access Control & Security Experience – Experience working with access control systems and understanding of physical security principles. 

Data & Analytical Skills – Strong capability using Excel and data tools, with experience analysing and presenting data. 

Attention to Detail – Proven ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information. 

Communication – Confident engaging with stakeholders and providing guidance and support. 

Organisation – Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
