About the role

The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking with a positive attitude, who is solutions focused. As an Account Director you will: 

•    be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects within Medical Education, Medical Affairs and Publications. 
•    use your project management, leadership skills and scientific expertise to deliver a range of scientific services to clients. 
•    be able to establish strong relationships - maintaining excellent relations with clients and your internal colleagues meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards.  
•    have experience of delivering a variety of projects and be willing to take on mentorship and line management activities.
•    research information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy areas and products and act as a primary client liaison point.
•    will work as part of a collaborative team and supervise a range of projects working on dynamic and fast paced accounts.
•    will lead on planning and strategy and be a primary liaison point. 

To succeed you will have:

•    Strong experience working in a medical communications environment
•    A proven background in project and client management and be comfortable leading on client facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
•    Experience across a variety of deliverables 
•    Strong therapy area experience.
•    Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
•    A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    A background in Life Sciences would be beneficial
