WE’RE LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY CAPABLE ACCOUNT DIRECTOR OR SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR TO JOIN THE RAGGED EDGE CLIENT SERVICE TEAM AS MATERNITY COVER.

START DATE MID-END MAY FOR A 12 MONTH CONTRACT.

We believe Client Services is the heartbeat of the agency.

We’re looking for someone that will drive change by nurturing relationships internally and externally, allowing everyone to do their greatest work and achieve the best results for both clients and the agency.

The role

You will lead key clients independently and manage a team around you to support on client accounts. This role requires someone who is equally happy getting stuck right into the details of delivery, as well as overseeing and empowering other members of the team to do the same.

Internally, you will be the linchpin between commercials, creative and clients, and will make effective and timely decisions to balance changing priorities, adapt and problem solve ahead of time. You’ll also act as a sounding board to help others do the same.

Externally, you will get to know your clients, their business and industry, to be a fully informed and trusted partner to lean on. You’ll drive the relationship forward, always seeking out new opportunities to support them in achieving their ambitions, maximising value throughout a project lifecycle. You’ll make yourself, and Ragged Edge, indispensable.

You will need to be comfortable managing senior stakeholder groups and leading challenging discussions, generally feeling comfortable with the uncomfortable and happy to seek guidance as needed.

About you

You are already an established Account Director or Senior Account Director, able to hit the ground running, and a team player who’s raring to get stuck in.

You have excellent relationship and communication skills, are able to build solid internal and external relationships and flex your style as required.

You adopt work with a ‘Founder Mentality’ and are open, proactive and innovative in your thinking and style.

You naturally embrace a growth mindset and will continually make us better, by evolving processes to sustainable solutions, to how we think.

You are highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects and manage your own time and studio resource to ensure project timelines are met, often amidst changing priorities and deadlines.

You have strong financial skills, are able to write effective value-based proposals and manage projects profitably. As well as overseeing others to do the same.

You are a strategic thinker, with a passion for branding and design. You will have an ability to put yourself in our client’s shoes to think about what’s the best solution for their brand, strategically and creatively.

Ideally you’ll have line management experience, inspiring and guiding others to grow and develop in their own unique ways. You’ll lead by example, helping to create an encouraging, nurturing, collaborative and rewarding work environment.
