Job Description - Account Executive

Our client, a prominent organisation in the insurance sector, is seeking an accomplished Account Executive to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing client enquiries and quotations, delivering exceptional client support, processing policies, and cultivating business relationships, all while upholding the company's high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and provide tailored insurance quotations across multiple channels.
  • Collect and analyse client information to accurately assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Clearly communicate insurance options, coverage details, and exclusions to clients.
  • Prepare and issue quotations and policy documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain and update client records, process new business applications, and manage policy amendments and renewals.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with business partners, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and provide support for out-of-hours emergency claims as required.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and work towards relevant industry qualifications.

The candidate:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate insurance products and foster client relationships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance products, policy terms, and industry regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to effectively manage client portfolios and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Industry qualifications such as Cert CII or Diploma in Insurance, or working towards this.
