Job Description - Account Executive

Our Client is a commercial broker based in the East Midlands. Due to expansion, the Account Executive you will inherit a book of commercial insurance business with income circa £250k income. You will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure a smooth hand over and professional introduction to the new client base.

The Role:

  • To manage own existing client book and achieving cross sales opportunities.
  • To deal with referrals from distribution partners.
  • To act as referral point to the small business unit.
  • To develop distribution relationships, as agreed with Managing Director.
  • To attend networking events to promote the Broker

Key Deliverables:

  • The Account Executive will achieve own client retention and new business/development targets
  • Develop distribution relationships
  • Assist colleagues

Measures of Performance:

  • Achieve agreed % of client retention
  • Achieve set cross sales target
  • Contribute towards success of distribution relationships
  • Receive positive feedback from Account handling and broking department
