Job Description - Account Executive

WHO WE ARE


LandTech builds software that helps property developers make better decisions about land, planning, and development. 🏗️



LandInsight is a market-leading site sourcing and assessment platform, used by developers and land teams to identify, evaluate, and de-risk development opportunities. It acts as the gateway into LandTech's wider ecosystem of products supporting the full pre-construction development journey. 🗺️



We recently launched our Land Intelligence strategy: a unified approach that brings data, insight, and workflow together across the early stages of development. This role sits at the centre of that strategy and plays a direct role in how it lands in the market. 🚀



THE ROLE


This is a New Business Account Executive role focused on acquiring LandInsight customers in the Mid Market segment.



You will own the full sales cycle from the first conversation through to close. You will be expected to generate and progress your own pipeline through focused, ICP led outbound, alongside working qualified inbound opportunities.



You will be expected to lead from the front. That means getting yourself out into the market, building relationships, staying close to your ICP, and putting LandInsight in front of the right people. Success in this role comes from being present, proactive, and visible, not waiting for opportunities to land.



The sales cycle is fast and efficient, with clear use cases, strong product-market fit, and defined buyer pain. Success comes from momentum, focus, and commercial judgment rather than long, complex deal orchestration.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES



  • New Business Growth: Close new LandInsight opportunities and deliver predictable ARR against target

  • Market Presence: Get out into the market, build relationships, attend events, and get LandInsight in front of the right people

  • Outbound Ownership: Proactively identify, engage, and convert ICP accounts using a disciplined outbound approach

  • Inbound Conversion: Progress qualified inbound opportunities efficiently and with clear qualification standards

  • Discovery & Value Positioning: Run structured discovery to understand land strategy, planning risk, and development constraints, and clearly articulate LandInsight’s value

  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a realistic, high-quality pipeline aligned to coverage expectations

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate, evidence-based forecasts

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with SDRs, Marketing, and Customer Growth to ensure strong handovers and long-term customer success

  • Market & Product Fluency: Build a strong working understanding of the property development landscape and how LandInsight supports it



TECHNICAL EXPERTISE & APPROACH



  • AI-Focused and Curious: Interested in how AI can improve prospecting, research, outreach, and sales effectiveness, and proactive in adopting tools that drive efficiency

  • LinkedIn-Led Outreach: Confident using LinkedIn as a core prospecting and credibility-building channel, including content engagement and thoughtful outreach

  • Multi-Channel Prospecting: Comfortable cold calling and opening conversations via LinkedIn and email

  • Sales Foundations: Strong grounding in qualification, discovery, and deal progression within a B2B SaaS environment



EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND



  • 1–2 years experience as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS, or

  • 1-2 years experience as an SDR with clear readiness to own a closing role

  • Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline and history of exceeding sales targets

  • Interest in or exposure to the property development, planning, or built environment sector is welcomed

  • Experience selling data, workflow, or analytics tools is a strong advantage
