We’re working with a rapidly growing, specialist insurance broker based in Manchester that is looking to add an ambitious and personable Trade Credit Account Executive to its expanding team.

The Role

As a Trade Credit Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing new business while building, supporting and maintaining a portfolio of Trade Credit Insurance clients.

You’ll be someone who enjoys being proactive and commercially minded, whether that’s developing relationships with introducers, generating referrals or approaching new prospects directly. Once clients are on board, you’ll take ownership of those relationships and work to develop them into successful, long-term partnerships.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team and will have the opportunity to develop your career within a growing specialist broker.

What you’ll be doing

* Manage, retain and grow a portfolio of Trade Credit Insurance clients.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities through introducers, referrals and direct approaches.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters and key industry contacts.

* Provide knowledgeable guidance to clients around renewals, cover, risk and claims, working closely with the Account Handling team.

* Develop a strong network of introducers and professional contacts to generate new opportunities.

* Take ownership of client relationships and deliver a high level of service throughout the client journey.

* Contribute to the continued growth, reputation and success of the specialist Trade Credit team.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive or Trade Credit Insurance professional, either from a broker or insurer background.

You’ll ideally be:

* Experienced within Trade Credit Insurance or a closely related insurance environment.

* Commercially driven, proactive and confident in developing new business.

* A natural relationship builder who enjoys networking and making connections.

* Comfortable generating opportunities through both introducers and direct prospecting.

* Client-focused, personable and able to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.

* Someone who takes ownership, follows things through and genuinely cares about delivering for clients.

* Ambitious and motivated to develop both personally and professionally.

* A positive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
