Job DescriptionAccount Executive – Healthcare Communications Position: Account ExecutiveLocation: London (4 days per week in the office)Contract Type: PermanentSalary: Up to £28k Start: ASAPAccount Executive -This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Client Services team! As a member of the CST, you will have the chance to shape your role to fit your strengths and be instrumental in the ongoing development and growth of the division.Our client is made up of a mixture of healthcare marketing specialists and consumer experts. Their health team focuses on building science-backed creative campaigns targeting patients and caregivers as well as healthcare professionals and payers.The successful candidate will be able to work on various projects across the full spectrum of healthcare advertising deliverables, working alongside global clients.With a vibrant and sociable team environment, intensive on-the-job coaching, and a targeted training program supplemented by an excellent benefits package, my client values the difference in their employees and strongly emphasises creating opportunities for advancement that complement and develop strengths and further careers.Role & Responsibilities:Project planning and organisation, including developing timelines and contributing to team and client planning meetingsHave an understanding of the overall process for production across different channels. Working with AMs and Producers to be able to create project timing and keep these up to date throughout the projectUnderstand the landscape your client is operating in and the impact that has on their communication strategy as well as understanding their target audience, their relationship with the client’s brand and how this impacts messaging within a campaignBuilding a relationship with the client and speaking regularly on callsManaging an activity or small project from brief through to completion, such as developing the copy for an infographic, managing the design, and incorporating team and client amends until the final document is approvedHave excellent attention to detail. Understand the client's brand guidelines, ensuring all presentations are delivered to the correct standardDemonstrate good creative judgement and voice your opinion within creative conversations, including internal creative reviewsUnderstand the day-to-day finances on your account and be responsible for keeping project finance trackers & timesheets up to dateSupport pitch teams with financial administrationArticulate the different brand positions for your client’s key competitorsSupport new business pitch teams with a can-do and proactive attitudeRead trade publications and keep a finger on the pulse of new exciting work both in and out of categoryRepresent the Agency in a professional manner at all times with clients and external partnersKnowledge of referencing styles and the ability to accurately reference materials and manage their progress through to client certification (e.g. via Veeva)Requirements: Degree (preferably life science)High level of drive, motivation, and initiativeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganised with exceptional time management skillsAbility to problem-solve effectively and make decisionsAwareness of industry guidelines (ABPI) and best practice and their applicationExperience working in Healthcare Communications (agency)#medcomms #medicalcommunications #medicalwriter #medicaleducation #healthcareadvertising #healthcare #pharmaAccount Executive – Healthcare Communications
