Your new job working as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the city. They have a dedicated team of over 7000 associates and pride themselves on having an entrepreneurial culture that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within their International Team and Machinery division, a new opportunity has arisen for a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive to work as part of their established team.

Your new Job

Your new role working as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive means you will be responsible for the provision of account management services for an allocated portfolio of clients dealing with clients from inception to completion for both new and renewal business. Aiding in the overall service provision for clients, ensuring that the business is retained and developed. You will be responsible for the day to day servicing of a client's insurance programme, supporting retention and development of the business, dealing effectively with all queries, including but not limited to changes in cover and risk, as well as, identifying the risk exposures and advising on insurance and risk management solutions as well as dealing with large Global Insurance programmes. This role will also include the preparation of market and client documentation to include MRC slips, endorsements as and when necessary.

What you will need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive dealing with clients from inception to will lead to your success within this role, you will have experience of account management at a senior level. You will understand the relevant classes of business, and have an understanding of risk management concepts and when these are useful to clients. You will have the ability to identify opportunities for business development. You will also have strong communication skills and be comfortable speaking with underwriters and clients, as well as be able to work with the broking team to prioritise workload and query any missing or incorrect content.
