Job Description - Account Handler

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Handler to join a well-established brokerage in North West London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience handling a range of commercial insurance products, but particularly Property Owners, Mid to High Net Worth (HNW) risks.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team, managing an existing portfolio while also assisting with new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of Property Owners, HNW, and Commercial insurance accounts
Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries
Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
Negotiate with insurers to obtain competitive terms
Ensure all documentation and compliance procedures are completed accurately
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in an insurance account handling role
Strong knowledge of Property Owners, Mid to HNW, and Commercial insurance products
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Cert CII or working towards desirably
Familiarity with insurance software systems (e.g., Acturis or similar)
