Location: Hayle, Cornwall
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

About the Company:
A fast-growing, independently owned insurance brokerage is opening a new regional office in Hayle as part of its national expansion. Known for its dynamic culture and open-door leadership, the firm has ambitious plans to grow its marine presence in the Southwest. With an established reputation across commercial lines and strong internal progression, they’re now building out their new team.

Role Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to help establish a new regional base with real input into how things evolve. You’ll support marine trade and general commercial clients, handling renewals, MTAs and insurer communication. It’s a people-first, team-driven environment — ideal for someone looking to grow with a supportive brokerage on the rise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client renewals and adjustments efficiently, maintaining strong service standards

• Liaise with insurers and internal brokers to source and secure cover terms

• Issue accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards

• Support claims handling and advise clients throughout the process

• Work collaboratively with a growing team and take ownership of your client book

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in a broking or handling role, ideally within marine or commercial lines

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team

• Strong attention to detail and client communication skills

• Acturis experience is a plus

• A positive, self-starting attitude and willingness to help shape a new office culture
