Job Title: Account Handler - Lloyd's Insurance Broker
Location: Colchester (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Role Overview
As an Account Handler, you'll play a key role in servicing a broad portfolio of clients, supporting the broking team with placement, renewals, and client relationship management. This position suits someone with 1-3 years' experience in insurance (broking, underwriting, or operational support) who is eager to grow within the Lloyd's market.

Key Responsibilities
Support the broking team with day-to-day servicing of client accounts

Prepare renewal documentation, reports, and submissions for Lloyd's and company markets

Liaise with underwriters and clients to ensure smooth placement and renewals

Handle mid-term adjustments, queries, and policy documentation

Maintain accurate records on internal systems and CRM tools

Build strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service

Support senior brokers with complex accounts as needed

About You
1-3 years of insurance experience, ideally in commercial or specialty lines

Understanding of insurance policies, processes, and the Lloyd's market (desirable)

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks

A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and progress

Cert CII qualification (or willingness to study towards)
