Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Account Manager role

Salary: £25,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hour working week Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the Account Manager

• Act as primary contact for requests for orders and quotes.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Handle customer escalations.
• Ensure orders are managed and shipped in a timely manner.
• Expedite the orders.
• Issuing credit notes
• Answer telephone queries.

Requirements for a successful Account Manager

• Previous account management experience within a manufacturing sales environment.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and SAP.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
