Job Description - Account Manager

The Internal Sales Associate manages a portfolio of small to medium-sized accounts, driving sales to meet budget and performance targets through quality service and strategic customer interactions. They handle quotes, orders, and claims efficiently while maintaining customer data in company systems, including CRM tools, to ensure high satisfaction and conversion rates.

Description

  • Create a customer-focused environment and fulfill contractual commitments.
  • Complete assigned tasks and actions to achieve sales targets and budget goals.
  • Adhere to company processes, work instructions, and utilize provided IT systems.
  • Use sales and pricing tools effectively while negotiating for better margins.
  • Record, review, and share customer data and requirements with the team.
  • Track customer needs and feedback to support business improvements.
  • Conduct high-quality sales calls and selectively visit new and existing customers.
  • Manage personal sales performance and assigned responsibilities daily.
  • Process sales orders and ensure accurate, timely deliveries to customers.

Profile

A successful Internal Sales Coordinator should have:

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, efficient, and proactive work approach.
  • Capable of executing action plans and managing daily sales performance.
  • Skilled in negotiation and closing deals independently.
  • Willingness to learn technical specifications.
  • Energetic, articulate, and naturally strong communicator.
  • Commercially savvy with a keen eye for growth opportunities.
  • Experience in metalwork, fabrication, or manufacturing is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills.
