Account Manager - Kent Region

What does the role involve?
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships with customers across the Kent region. You'll proactively manage your accounts, identify new business opportunities, and present our client's value proposition to ensure profitable growth and increased market share. You'll drive sales and business development activity across our product lines, securing long-term partnerships and ensuring a high level of account satisfaction.

As part of our client's Professional Sales Onboarding Programme, you will receive structured training, including hands-on coaching, to set you up for success.

You'll manage your own customer portfolio - which might include trade professionals, project managers and company owners - while working alongside a friendly and collaborative team.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

  • Senior relationship management skills to confidently engage with decision-makers

  • Experience in commercial sales, ideally in the Kent or surrounding region

  • Structured, strategic thinking with strong time-management skills

  • Ability to influence customers and internal teams

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously
