Job Description - Account Manager

Account Manager, Partner Manager, Channel Sales,

Job Title: Account Manager, Reseller Channel / Partner Manager
Location: Thames Valley - Hybrid (3-4 days per week office/client-based)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 basic + OTE + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a market-leading technology provider, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team. This is a strategic role focused on managing and growing revenue through reseller and channel partner networks, with a strong emphasis on SaaS, Cloud Services, Telephony, Unified Communications, and Managed IT Services.

You will be responsible for nurturing existing partner relationships while also identifying and developing new commercial opportunities. Working closely with the sales, marketing and product teams, you will ensure partners are supported with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to succeed. This role combines commercial acumen, consultative selling, and long-term relationship building.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the partner channel landscape, including reseller sales models, solution-based selling, and margin generation. You will also have a firm grasp of the current technology ecosystem, especially within SaaS, Cloud, and communications platforms.

This is a high-impact position that requires a motivated, intelligent, and commercially sharp individual capable of influencing decision-makers and translating complex solutions into value for end customers.

Key Requirements: for Account Manager / Partner Manager

Minimum 2:1 degree, (preferably in a business, Humaneterian, STEM, technology or related discipline)

Strong experience in a partner, channel, or reseller account management role

Background in SaaS, Cloud, Unified Comms, Telephony, or Managed Services

Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle, including forecasting and pipeline management

Comfortable with hybrid working: 3-4 days per week in office or on client sites (Thames Valley and wider South East)
