Job Description - Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that drive loyalty and success.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Negotiate product prices and close agreements that maximise profits while keeping clients satisfied.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, shop floor) to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Prepare insightful reports on account status when required, helping to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and seize opportunities to grow business with existing clients, contributing to our client's success.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations, demonstrating your problem-solving prowess.

Skills & Competencies Needed:

  • Strong client relationship management skills to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Excellent project coordination abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strategic thinking to foresee client needs and develop proactive solutions.
  • Conflict resolution skills to handle challenging situations with grace.
  • Sales and business development expertise to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of stock management to ensure optimal supply levels.

Work Environment:

This role is office-based with a supportive team atmosphere.
Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients or attend industry events, adding variety to your work!
