Job Description - Account Manager

Account Manager 
Sheffield (Field-Based Role)
Starting from £30,000 + Commission + Company Car Scheme
On Target Earnings: £50,000 – £60,000 per year

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to join their Services Sales team based in Sheffield. This is a field-based role, combining time at the Sheffield branch with regular visits to customers across your designated territory.
You’ll play a key role in growing existing accounts and developing new business, becoming a trusted partner by delivering tailored service solutions that meet customer needs.
A key part of this role will involve selling Repair & Maintenance (R&M) contracts and parts packages to customers who have recently purchased new HGVs from the client, ensuring they receive ongoing support and maximum vehicle uptime.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Focus on developing accounts with customers who have recently purchased new HGVs, selling R&M contracts and parts packages to support ongoing vehicle performance and uptime
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored service solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to follow-up
• Accurately complete all administration, quotes, and CRM updates
• Deliver presentations and performance updates to internal stakeholders
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets

About You
• Proven experience in a sales or account management role (preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
