Job Description - Account Manager
Our client is a global, award-winning PR and communications agency, covering the UK and U.S, focussing mainly on corporate comms across financial services, professional services and tech. They are looking to hire an Account Manager (or experienced Senior Account Exec) to join their currently 30 people strong team at their London offices, with experience in the private markets industry across corporate communications.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the communications and clients' industries, competitive environments, businesses and business plans.
Line management - mentoring junior staff.
Working effectively with journalists and maintaining relationships.
Serving as the day to day client contact.
Being responsible for reviewing and editing written material developed by the account team, and assisting team members in perfecting their writing skills.
Be a part of the new business development for the company, including running pitch processes and growing relationships.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in the PR & comms industry
Experience of working across a mix of FS, PS and tech clients in corporate comms.
Eager to participate in agency-wide events and activities
Skilled in writing press releases, media pitches, comment pieces and be confident in leading with client and new business proposals.
Passion for stakeholder communications, news, culture and current affairs.
