For more details please visit: www.persistent.com About the Position Persistent Systems is looking for an experienced hunting focused Sales Lead to join the Software & Hi-tech Practice. We help our clients build the next-generation products at warp speed with breakthrough operational efficiency. With services across the entire product development spectrum, Persistent is the ideal engineering partner to co-innovate around new product development and as a transformation catalyst for existing products and businesses. Technology products and business models don’t stay current for long due to the rapid pace of innovation, accelerated development cycles, and disruptive business models. This has increased both the importance and complexity of managing innovation, engineering, and management. About You - You are passionate about the innovation economy, love to dabble in next gen technologies and excited about the future that technology is shaping – Product Engineering, Cloud, Mobility, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Blockchain. - Have Demonstrable experience of selling product engineering solutions to Software ISV industry, software Startups, Born in Cloud companies and Unicorns • Have a successful track record of opening new logos - Have Demonstrable experience in achieving annual revenue targets. • Can communicate with and build relationships with senior client stakeholders (CXO, CXO-1) - Possesses strong product / technology / industry knowledge. - Strong focus on Client Service excellence The Role • Identify and sell to the decision makers including C-Level executives, across both IT and LOBs (Line of Businesses) in enterprises in both new and existing accounts • Consultatively identify requirements and propose solutions to customers • Create and deliver client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiation • Customer solution selling that could include software licenses for Persistent, partner solutions, and services • Building and managing a strong Sales Pipeline. • Anchor client meetings and pursue any opportunities generated with the help of pre-sales, and external partners • Prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with new customers • Cross-selling and Upselling experience • Strong large deal sales skills, particularly in outsourcing and transformation deals. • Consultative selling skills. • Building and managing a strong Sales Pipeline • Anchor client meetings and pursue any opportunities generated with the help of pre-sales and external partners.
