A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join my client based in the Speke area. The position is to work within an established team in the company where you will be responsible for managing current business accounts and being the first point of contact for your clients. The opportunity is office based and is offered with a basic salary of £28,000. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The main duties of an Account Manager are:

Deliver excellent service through effective account management.
Be the first point of contact for your client portfolio.
Keep in contact with key decision makers with a view to developing and maintaining strong business relationships (no cold calling).
Use a consultative approach to nurture and grow relationship.
Listen and understand the client's needs to ensure tailored solutions.
Create and develop a contact cycle with clients.
You would be free to attend client sites, but this is not a targeted or expected duty.

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

Have similar experience within a telephone Account Management, Sales, or Customer Service position.
A high work ethic coupled with an energetic and methodical approach to work.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Strong verbal and listening skills coupled with a professional telephone manner.
Basic IT skills.
