On offer is the opportunity to join a leading metalwork machinery manufacturer, supplying steel to various end users across the UK for the past 20 years. They specialise in supplying the automotive industry with ready-machined metal parts.

On offer is the chance to become a fundamental asset to the sales team. You will oversee key client relationships while driving new business growth. This role requires prior experience in the steel industry, as you will also be monitoring industry trends, competitor activities and customer demands to inform and implement sales strategies.

The Role:

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's market presence.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to inform sales strategies.
• Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring profitable agreements and long-term partnerships.
• Provide expert advice on engineering steels, assisting clients in selecting the best solutions for their needs.

• Sales or business development experience within the steel or metalwork industry
• Commutable to Chesterfield
