Account Manager - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Lancing
Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're partnering with a well-established company that provides specialist solutions across a variety of industries, seeking a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join their team.

About the Role:
In this key position, you'll manage and grow relationships with important clients while identifying new business opportunities across diverse markets. You'll work closely with sales, customer service, and internal teams to deliver excellent service and support strategic account development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and challenges.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and relevant documentation.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and prospects, providing detailed reports to management.
• Monitor account performance, flagging risks and identifying growth potential.
• Support internal teams with account management and sales input.
• Maintain and grow an opportunity pipeline using CRM systems.
• Assist with estimates and ensuring proposals align with client needs and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure effective client solutions.
• Contribute to sales forecasting and commercial reporting.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in account management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
• Confident using CRM systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Commercially aware with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Positive, adaptable, and proactive in managing workloads and client relationships.
