About the Role
As a Business Services Manager, you will lead on statutory Accounts, management Accounts, and tax returns. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their Accounts are accurate, timely, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and review Accounts for a portfolio of growing businesses.
Oversee the preparation of statutory Accounts, management Accounts, and tax returns.
Provide expert advice on Accounts and financial matters to clients.
Ensure timely delivery of Accounts and meet client deadlines.
Attend client meetings in person and via video link to discuss Accounts performance.
Assist with raising fee notes and managing work-in-progress related to Accounts.
Support one-off financial and project-based assignments.
Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors, and other Accounts team members.
Attend networking events and new client meetings with Fee Earners.

Requirements

ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in an Accounts or Finance practice.
Strong knowledge of cloud-based Accounts software and other digital tools.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Proven experience in developing and mentoring Accounts staff.
Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Line management experience in an Accounts environment is desirable.
