Accountant

Exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a modern and growing firm of Accountants based in Garforth.

This firm takes a modern approach to Accountancy with the utilization of technology to make their work and client contact succinct and efficient.

With over 40 staff, you will have the opportunity to join an expanding team that will enable you to connect with a wide range of individuals and grow your existing knowledge.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Liaising with clients when appropriate and providing professional and efficient advice.
• Assisting clients with the bookkeeping portal and answering any queries.
• Preparing self-assessment tax returns to be sent to the client.
• Assisting clients with their tax planning and any additional advice as may be required.
• Reviewing accounts in readiness to be sent to the client for approval.

To be applicable for this Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following:

• Have previous experience as an Accountant, ideally from an Accountancy Firm.
• Be comfortable and open to adopting new technologies and working for a progressive firm of Accountants.
• Feel comfortable taking ownership of your work and liaising with clients.
• This role is suitable for someone who is AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
