Accountant

Overview

My client, a rapidly expanding property services firm based centrally out of Birmingham, is looking to bring a motivated and studying Accountant into their highly regarded accounting department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure and assist in the financial management of the firm's largest client portfolio.

Day to day in the role, you will be using your rapport building skills to manage and enhance the relationship with the client, ensuring timely and accurate reporting processes, acting as the key stakeholder across the business. You will be assisting in the management of budgets, managing ledgers and providing commentary on financial data using accruals, prepayments and balance sheets.

Skills Needed

• Have had a background in transactional ledger work, moving on to exposure at month end.
• Have a fundamental understanding of double entry bookkeeping and understanding of financial statements.
• Currently be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification.
• Experience within the sector would be highly beneficial but is not required.
