Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Chester Business Park.

The Role:
Working for a chartered accountants the role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilitiesof the Assistant Accountant:

• Addressing client queries with HMRC.
• Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Compiling personal tax computations and returns.
• Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services.
• Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients.
• Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns.

Requirements of the Assistant Accountant:

• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
• AAT qualification preferred, but not essential.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
