Accountant

Marks Sattin is delighted to be working exclusively with this exciting pharmaceutical supplier based in Central Manchester as they look to bring their Finance function in house.

Working in a small UK team of 25 which incorporates Sales, Marketing and Finance, this is a hugely important role for the business as they move into their next phase of growth and are seeking an experienced Accountant who can optimise their accounting procedures and in house reporting.

Reporting to the European Finance Manager but with a dotted line to the UK MD this role will be responsible for periodic financial reporting, general ledger postings, VAT returns, routine and annual reports for the SMT (currently quarterly but looking to move to monthly) and working closely with the auditors and tax consultants regarding the annual statutory accounts and consolidation (US), along with more general BAU finance responsibilities in AP and AR.

You can be either a part or fully qualified Accountant, however Xero and/or Dynamics experience would be really useful, as would experience within an international group of companies. Industry experience is not a must have, but prior experience in manufacturing and or pharma/research would be useful.
