Accountant

Service Care Solutions have partnered with a leading accountancy practice who are looking for a talented and experienced accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the the role below.

Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Mansfield
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year
Working: Hybrid (2-3 days from home)

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards
• Auditing small companies, including both individual entities and group structures
• Assisting senior accountants during audit fieldwork and assignments
• Preparation of draft corporate tax computations and supporting documentation
• Compiling management accounts and providing financial insights where necessary
• Effectively prioritising and managing workload to meet strict deadlines
• Working confidently with a range of accounting software packages, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Performing ad-hoc assignments and supporting the wider team as required.
