Accountant

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Accountant who has strong technical accounting experience ideally in a larger business. This is a technical role with the scope for progression in the future, study support will be provided along with a hybrid working setup. Previous experience in a similar role is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements & month end accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journals.
• VAT Return preparations.
• Cash flow forecasting
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register, managing acquisitions and disposals
• Provide support with statutory account preparation.
• Lead and play a crucial part within audit.
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by management.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Part qualified/ finalist (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Prior experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong communication skills.
