Accountant

A subsidiary of a global IT company is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their UK team based in Goole. This hands-on role will support day-to-day financial operations and reporting, working closely with both local and international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial transactions, including billing, payments, and bank reconciliations
  
  
• Maintain accurate records, ledgers, and trial balances
  
  
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial reports
  
  
• VAT returns
  
  
• Liaise with head office on financial reporting
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting
  
  
• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or similar
  
  
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Navision would be an advantage
  
  
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
