Accountant

Fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.
This mid-size, prominent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients.
From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves in offering their clients a well-rounded service.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
• Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Complete and review VAT returns.
• Work with junior members of the team to assist in their training and development.
• Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.

To be a successful applicant for this Accountant position, you should meet the following:

• Have at least 5+ years’ experience as an Accountant in an Accountancy Practice.
• Be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.
