Job Description - Accountant

Financial Accountant / Up to £58,000 / London
Overview:

A Market Leader in the insurance sector are seeking an Accountant to join them and support the financial reporting and processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to excel your career with progression available.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journals for IFRS-17
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Uploading journals to Oracle
  • Working with auditors on reconciliations, analysis and ledger data
  • Reviewing comments raised for the draft financial statements

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA/ICAEW qualified
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Accounting position in an Insurance organisation
  • An excellent communicator
  • Hard-working and ambitious
  • A team player who thrives when working with others towards shared goals

Package:
  • Up to £58,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
