Summary

Our client based in Saffron Walden is looking for an accountant/bookkeeper to join their team!
We seek an accountant/bookkeeper with experience in general practice to work in Saffron Walden with our established client.

Our Client
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant/bookkeeper to work with our well established general practice client.

The Role
In this role you will be responsible for preparing client accounts and dealing with bookkeeping matters for manager or partner reviews

Main Duties

Preparation of statutory accounts from Trial Balance to Partner review
Preparation of periodical bookkeeping records using Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
Assisting clients with bookkeeping and VAT related queries
Assisting with payroll when required.

The Successful Candidate

Experience working in a general accountancy practice
Experience working with Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
Payroll experience desirable (not essential)
This role is office based in Saffron Walden – please be able to commit to 5 days in the office.
