Accountant

My client are a global manufacturing organisation based in North Manchester. Due to growth of the business they are recruiting this role onto a permanent basis into their finance function, we have worked with this business previously and have received excellent feedback on them being a great place to work.

As an Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with transactional and month end duties. This will include managing the purchase and sales ledger, reconciling multi-currency bank accounts, credit control management, expenses and fixed asset management, as well as supporting the Finance Manager with month end closure including the preparation and processing of journals for pre-payments and accruals, assisting with year-end statutory audit and tax reporting for US based parent company, and management information production.

This role will suit a candidate who has completed their AAT qualification and has experience with transactional and month end accounting, who is looking for a varied role with exposure to all aspects of the finance function. The salary on offer is paying up to £45,000 dependant on experience, the role will be based onsite 5 days a week.
