A long-established, independent accountancy practice is looking for a skilled and confident accounts professional. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own portfolio and making a real impact with clients.

Role Responsibilities

• Preparing annual accounts for a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing and submitting personal and corporation tax returns.
• Advising clients on their tax liabilities and statutory obligations.
• Working directly with business owners, directors and sole traders.
• Option to be involved in audit work (not essential).
• Supporting or reviewing the work of junior colleagues where appropriate.

Personal Requirements

• AAT / ATT / ACA / ACCA qualified (or QBE with strong practice experience).
• Confident managing your own workload and client relationships.
• Up-to-date on UK accounting and tax regulations.
• Professional and personable with a proactive mindset.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential.
