My client is looking for an Accountant to join their team and manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting, tax, and business advice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, delivering high-quality work, and playing a key role in a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients

* Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies

* Complete self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns

* Provide practical financial advice and support to clients

* Monitor deadlines, workflow, and billing targets

* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

* Respond to client queries efficiently and professionally

* Support and mentor junior team members

* Work with IRIS, Sage, DEXT, and Xero

About You:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in an accountancy practice

* AAT qualified or above

* Strong experience with accounts preparation, self-assessment, and corporation tax

* Excellent communication and client relationship skills

* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Full UK driving licence - Please note that there is no current on-site parking at this location, but parking is available close by.
