Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant - Temporary Contract

Location: Daventry, UK
Contract: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

The Role

We are recruiting for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join a well-established finance team based at our clients UK Logistics Centre in Daventry. This is a temporary 3-month assignment, offering a hybrid working pattern.

The role

Support a range of financial accounting, reporting and month-end activities, including:

Lease accounting and quarterly audit support
Payroll journals, reconciliations and reporting
Monthly and quarterly corporate reporting
PSA return preparation and PII variance analysis
Month-end close and Balance Sheet reviews
Annual Tax Pack preparation for Daventry and Kent
Financial analysis, variance investigation and internal controls
Ensuring compliance with relevant financial and tax regulationsAbout You

Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Degree/qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
Good Excel skills are essential
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with Oracle, Power BI or Power Query would be advantageous but is not essential
Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
