are looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be newly or partly ACCA Qualified or CA Qualified.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for carrying out the General Accounting function for Global Design Ltd, and any other company as may be added to GDi’s portfolio and provide support to the Finance Manager and Management team.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:
Preparation and issuance of monthly sales invoices in a timely manner.
Reconciliation of customer accounts.
Resolve invoice discrepancies or queries.
Produce and distribute weekly/monthly reports as required, both internally and to client.
Monthly Invoice Finance reconciliation and uploads
Cash flow and bank approval procedures
Maintain positive communication when interacting with intercompany contacts/department contacts to resolve customer queries.
Development of Project reporting.
Aiding with new system implementation as required.
Assistance with payroll preparation as required.
Assistance with any other accounting and finance related tasks as required, such as VAT returns tax support etc.

Essential Skills & Abilities
Proficient in accounting and reporting standards, including compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in Finance/accounting practices/standards, reporting and management and how they are structured within organisations.
Proficient in various applicable finance software systems and Microsoft packages.
Proficient in and experience of credit control and dealing with client queries.
Evident accuracy of work and ability to imply checking procedures.
