T2M Resourcing are delighted to have been appointed to recruit this Accountant opportunity for a leading company in the Evesham area. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role is ideally suited to a part-qualified accountant who has good foundation finance skills and is enthusiastic to learn and develop their career. We will also consider more experienced / qualified accountants.

Responsibilities of a Branch Accountant:

This role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities and the successful candidate will be the ‘go to’ finance contact for the numerous branches that the company has throughout the UK.

In addition to preparing monthly management accounts for each branch you will get involved in variance analysis (E.G. Cost of sales and margin analysis, stock reporting and accounting for sales commissions), also seeking to identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls / compliance.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum AAT qualified and / or studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Experienced at preparing monthly management accounts
• Able to process and reconcile finance transactions
• Analytical and numerate – able to understand and explain finance to non-financial managers
• A good understanding of Excel and accounting packages e.g. Sage 50
• Good at problem solving!
• You must also enjoy working on your own initiative (have a high level of self-accountability) but also an effective team player
