A growing accountancy practice in Peterborough is looking for an experienced, qualified (or nearly qualified) Accountant to join it's team. You'll be managing accounts, VAT, CIS, and tax returns for a variety of clients, from local entrepreneurs to growing businesses. You'll also play a key role in supporting junior team members.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accounts, VAT returns, CIS submissions, and tax returns.
• Work with a broad and varied client base.
• Support and mentor junior members of the team.
• Use software like QuickBooks to manage and maintain client records.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines and standards.

Personal Requirements

• AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified).
• At least 3 years' experience in a practice environment.
• Confident working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Friendly, professional, and client-focused.
