Accountant Benelux

Halliday Marx have partnered with Tech business to hire an Accountant with Benelux experience on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working (2/3 days in the West London office)

Responsibilities

• Managing the accounting for the Dutch entity
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the Benelux entities
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)
• Business partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to support financial decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities as needed
• VAT returns
• Drive process improvements and contribute to finance system enhancements
• Assist with group consolidation and reporting

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience with Benelux accounting
• Available to start within 6 weeks
• Excellent communication skills
• Dutch/French speaker preferred but not essential
