Accountant, Client Manager to Director

A rare career opportunity for an experienced Practice Accountant is available with a friendly, supportive and successful accountancy firm, within easy reach of Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, Nottingham and surrounding areas, keen to hire at any level from a Senior Accountant through to Manager / Director level. They can be flexible, in order to secure the right person and offer a varied role with development opportunity.

In the short/medium term, the role will involve working with other members of the team to develop good relationships with clients. It will also involve assisting, as a senior member of the team, with general accounting matters that arise with other staff members, reviewing accounts work and tax returns

The role can involve providing project leadership / support on other matters as they arise, systematising processes, perhaps looking at IT system upgrades and in the longer term, the role may develop in different ways depending upon how circumstances are. This position could be part of the firm's senior management and integral to the future management/development of the business.

This firm have a small and friendly team, operate a relaxed environment and generally staff will do what they can to assist. They try their upmost to be flexible around the needs of any one staff member, working on the principle that the person comes first. Systems used include xero, sage online, sage 50 and iris accounts production.
